Marian’s Place Mission
Marian’s Place, located along the Mississippi River within Cliff Cave County Park in South St. Louis County, Missouri, offers a serene green-space where nature, wellness and community can thrive. This natural gem is focused on providing both physical therapy and mental respite for all persons with Dementia. Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer, heart disease – as well as their caregivers. Through the work of passionate partnerships, walking paths are created to wind through native wildflowers, grasses and trees. These paths will connect to outdoor fitness facilities and therapy areas developed to rejuvenate, heal and enhance quality of life for all.
Though Marian's Place is completely self-funded, we are constantly working with partners and the community on the development of programs that can serve to benefit the community through nature and wellness. These programs are a core component of the growth and life of the property.
